Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book my newborn session?
It is never too early to book! Most book during their second trimester. I only book a certain number of newborns/photo shoots per month so it is better to book earlier rather than later to make sure I have time in my schedule.

I have a few ideas in mind for photos, is that ok?
Of course! I love incorporating client’s ideas. To book I always send over an online booking form that will ask colors/props you would like to incorporate. You can also attached a couple photos to the booking form as well.

How long are sessions?
Newborn sessions are 3-4 hours, all other sessions are around 45-50mins.

Are all of the photos included in the session fee?
No — There is a session fee and then an ordering fee. All prints and digitals are purchased separately after each session.

Do you travel for newborn sessions?
All newborn shoots are done in my studio. I have a large variety of backdrops/props that you are able to look through while you are here.

Do you allow dogs in photo shoots?
If we are doing an outdoor family session then we can definitely include your dog. However, all photo shoots done in my studio for safety and allergy purposes I do not allow pets.

Do you provide the cake for cake smashes?

No — For allergy purposes parents are responsible for bringing the cake.

What should I bring to our newborn session?

You don't have to bring much! I have a large variety of headbands, hats, props, wraps, blankets and backdrops. If you would like to include some personal items then you can bring those with you. Other than that everything is all here. Please let me know a head of time if you have something specific in mind. Before your session I will send over a link with suggested items to bring like a pacifier, boppy for feeding, tablet, etc.
