"We have used Alicia over the past few years for both of our kids' newborn photos as well as our son's first birthday party. We have always been amazed at Alicia's photos. She definitely has an eye for photography and captures the most perfect moments. This can't be easy to do, especially working with newborns or crazy 2-yr-olds like ours! When Alicia came to our son's 1st birthday party last year, she took the most beautiful photos of our son, as well as our family and friends. Even at a busy party spread out both inside and outside our home, Alicia captured the key moments like the first birthday cake and presents, as well as candids of our guests that we could never get ourselves. "We couldn't not have expected our daughters cake smash and 1 year photos to be any more amazing than they are! I am absolutely stunned at how great they came out! I sent her pictures of what I was hoping to do ahead of time, when I got there the props were more than I could have imagined. She even had balloons in my color scheme and the set ups were beyond perfect! Her assistant was great, my daughter was all smiles till that camera came out. They were able to get her to laugh and giggle for perfect photographs! We are amazed at the professionalism and how comfortable the whole photo shoot was! “Before my baby was born I knew I wanted to do a newborn session. I didn’t have a particular photographer in mind, so I went to google and searched and found Alicia! The session went great and Alicia was so patient and kind as our daughter had to eat during the shoot. Most importantly the photographs of our precious baby came out great! There were so many different photos with different poses and backdrops to chose from! We were so happy with the quality, affordability and ease of working with Alicia we asked her to take Madelyn’s Christmas photos and one year photos! The Christmas pictures were so adorable with great props and backgrounds! The one year session was a little more difficult as our daughter was not her normal happy self. After Alicia left I thought to myself that we would be lucky to get one good shot, but I was wrong! Alicia surprised me, she was able to capture my daughter’s true personality even on her grumpiest day! She was able to get great pictures of our daughter alone and with family. For our newborn session she came directly to us and set everything up in my living room. After just having a baby this was completely stress free and enjoyable. During this session she was extremely delicate with Jameson and her passion for photography was very evident. During our 1-year photo shoot she was just amazing. "Alicia took our engagement pictures in late October for our 2016 wedding and we are so pleased with the results!!!!! She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and knew what looked good! It was very nice seeing Alicia working with her mother during our session! Alicia was super cute bringing fake champagne, champagne glasses, and a blanket to pose with! It was a great idea and some of our favorite pictures are with those props! Also Alicia brought a little black sign for us to hold so that she could later put our date on it in the picture and those pictures came out phenomenal as well! Girls who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend their prom were treated to a day of "shopping" for a gown and accessories. “I used Alicia Kathryn Photo-Design for my newborn photo shoot. Alicia was very professional and kind. She informed me of what would happen before I got there so I was prepared. She was very professional of me breast feeding between shots. She was very gentle with my daughter and in tune with my feelings with some of the posing. My daughter being my first I was a little concerned of her in a basket but Alicia placed her gently and used pillows and props so my daughter slept through the whole thing. She also provided me a drink when mine ran out. I was so pleased with my newborn shots I did our family photos with her and will do my 2nd child’s as well. "I can't say enough great things about Alicia! She did my maternity and newborn photos back in 2014 and they were fabulous. My husband is in the military so we move a lot and I unfortunately lost the flash drive containing all of the photos. I was so upset about losing those photos that I emailed Alicia on the off chance she might still have them. This is our first baby so I have never done anything like this before so I was kind of anxious about how anyone can pull off a newborn shoot. What I found is that Alicia and her mom are baby whisperers, I swear. They had all sorts of tricks up their sleeves in order to keep our baby calm and asleep.
